Javier Hernandez has left West Ham to join Sevilla on a deal worth close to £8m.
The 31-year-old Mexico international, who has featured in two Premier League games this season, had 10 months remaining on his contract at the London Stadium. Hernandez ended his time with the Hammers by scoring on his final appearance in a 1-1 Premier League draw at Brighton on August 17.
The striker scored 17 goals in 63 appearances for West Ham since joining from Bayer Leverkusen in 2017.
Hernandez’s departure will free up money for West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini for a possible arrival in January or next summer.
